Sweet little Bridget! My sister, Patsy, has been visiting your site for about three months now and I just want you to know how inspirational you all have been for her and her family. Little Maggie is now three months old and doing so well!!! I am a pediatric oncology nurse, and we see several children with DS and they are the most amazing and wonderful children to be around! They can brighten your day just by running up with their big, beautiful smiles and giving the best hugs in the world! Lisa, I just wanted you to know how lucky we feel to have found your site. My sister actually found it the on May 17th, the day our third daughter, Maggie Rae, was born with DS. We, like oyu and your husband were in shock at first, but thanks to such inspiring reading (such as your site) and much prayer, we quickly saw Miss Maggie as the true blessing she is. Thank goodness no health problems as of now so we feel extra blessed. We also have Emme Grace, 6, and Rayley Beth, 5, and they could not be any more in love with their new baby sister! I am a new grandmother to baby boy born in Dec. 08 with down syndrome. I'm still coming to terms with it. The love you have for Bridget is what I feel for my new grandson. Reading this helps me to realize that my daughter and her precious baby will have a wonderful life together. Thank you for this website.

WOW! I stumbled onto this site by accident and was amazed at it's precious content. I am a special ed teacher with a heart for kids with this type of challenge and was so moved by what I saw. What a world this would be if every DS child were greeted and cared for with such amazing, unconditional love. But as beautiful as Bridget is (and she is gorgeous) I have to say that all the children in this family are really beautiful, as parents you should be very proud. I was especially impressed by the elder's ability to express herself, she is remarkably articulate and mature for her age.

Hi, I love your website. Your little girl sounds so much like Mine. Miah was born on March 26th of this year with unexpected D.S. She has a small heart defect, but nothing else. I read your story in my husband, Clint's, PDT Alumni newsletter, and was compelled to check out Bridget's site. I am the local coordinator for Upper Arlington Special Olympics, and have had a great deal of interaction with our athletes with Down Syndrome and their families. I am overwhelmed by the love that I see the parents of our DS athletes have for their children. I will pass this site on to all of them. As a mother of two young children, I know the feeling of unconditional love, and I could see the it in the photo montage of Bridget...she's a lucky little girl...and so are you to have her in your lives.
