Dear Lisa, I am a new mom of a baby girl with DS and I found your site. Thank you for sharing all the loving memories and stories of your family. I cried when I read your stories as I feel so identified with you. I am from Mexico and my husband is European, so I hope your site continues to inspire people from around the world. Thank you and may God keep blessing your beautiful family. Celina

Dear Lisa, I came across your website while sending a friend request to Susan Reimer in Westerville Ohio, I lived beside her when she had her little girl Olivia, and she was born with DS, she is a beautiful little girl. I clicked on a site about DS and found your site. What a beautiful and loving family and heart touching story. Bridget is so blessed to have a loving family, just as her family is blessed to have a precious little angel from God. My heart has been so touched. God Bless

Sweet little Bridget! My sister, Patsy, has been visiting your site for about three months now and I just want you to know how inspirational you all have been for her and her family. Little Maggie is now three months old and doing so well!!! I am a pediatric oncology nurse, and we see several children with DS and they are the most amazing and wonderful children to be around! They can brighten your day just by running up with their big, beautiful smiles and giving the best hugs in the world! I enjoy visiting your site and keeping up with your little angel, but please continue especially for my sister because I know how much it is helping her get through each day just knowing how many other parents are enjoying amazing lives with their little miracles too :) Thank you, again, for taking the time to put together such a wonderful site for so many in need of it.

Lisa, I just wanted you to know how lucky we feel to have found your site. My sister actually found it the on May 17th, the day our third daughter, Maggie Rae, was born with DS. We, like oyu and your husband were in shock at first, but thanks to such inspiring reading (such as your site) and much prayer, we quickly saw Miss Maggie as the true blessing she is. Thank goodness no health problems as of now so we feel extra blessed. We also have Emme Grace, 6, and Rayley Beth, 5, and they could not be any more in love with their new baby sister! I hope you keep your site going so we can continue following all about Bridget! Again please know just how inspirational we have found in your words.

I am a new grandmother to baby boy born in Dec. 08 with down syndrome. I'm still coming to terms with it. The love you have for Bridget is what I feel for my new grandson. Reading this helps me to realize that my daughter and her precious baby will have a wonderful life together. Thank you for this website.

WOW! I stumbled onto this site by accident and was amazed at it's precious content. I am a special ed teacher with a heart for kids with this type of challenge and was so moved by what I saw. What a world this would be if every DS child were greeted and cared for with such amazing, unconditional love. But as beautiful as Bridget is (and she is gorgeous) I have to say that all the children in this family are really beautiful, as parents you should be very proud. I was especially impressed by the elder's ability to express herself, she is remarkably articulate and mature for her age.

Lisa, This website and photo montage are both breathtaking. With a son with DS who is 18, I am well past this young part of his life, but I remember it so fondly as I read your descriptions. I have recommended it to several people, two more today. You are doing God's work. Kate

This is a beautiful website. My oldest son has DS. I googled exercises for fine motor skills and your website came up. I am so thankful that it did. You and your children are such eloquent writers, and it was such a blessing to see many of my own feeling and thoughts written beautifully. Thank you for sharing. It brought a lot of joy to my evening! PS. I first found out about my blessing on Christmas Day 2005! :-)

Lisa, thank you for sharing your family and Bridget Claire with the world. What a beautiful little girl. And what a blessed family you have. I also "googled" the name "Bridget Claire" and came upon your page. In the morning I will tell my own Bridget Claire about your very special girl. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Hi, I love your website. Your little girl sounds so much like Mine. Miah was born on March 26th of this year with unexpected D.S. She has a small heart defect, but nothing else. Her muscle tone is great too. I am immensly proud of her, and humbled by her. It is lovely to see pictures of Bridget growing, she is so beautiful & as a baby looks similar to Miah! Take care. I read your story in my husband, Clint's, PDT Alumni newsletter, and was compelled to check out Bridget's site. I am the local coordinator for Upper Arlington Special Olympics, and have had a great deal of interaction with our athletes with Down Syndrome and their families. I am overwhelmed by the love that I see the parents of our DS athletes have for their children. I will pass this site on to all of them. As a mother of two young children, I know the feeling of unconditional love, and I could see the it in the photo montage of Bridget...she's a lucky little girl...and so are you to have her in your lives. I was so touched by your words and the photos on this site. You are a beautiful family in every way.

Dear Lisa, I am an old friend of Bobbi's. We worked together at Burbank when you were still in high school. I got a Christmas card from her today encouraging me to visit your website. I'm glad she did. It appears as if Bridget is indeed a blessing and one lucky little girl to have landed in a family with so much love. Just one question: How in heaven's name have you had time to brush your hair let alone prepare such a well-written and informative website?! Amazing! Mary Ellen (Powers) Rupright

Simply beautiful!! Please get a publisher, this is so heartfelt, enlightening, not enough words to describe. It will help so many people and probably would hit the bestseller list. You are a talented archiver of your daughter's life. Maybe she will write her own autobiography some day as well?! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
